A Day In the Life of My iPhone Part 1: 5:30am
Since becoming the owner of an iPhone, it has become absolutely essential in my day to day life. Work, play or even sleep, the iPhone plays an important role in helping me hold on to my sanity. Mobile technology has elvolved so much over the last few years and the iPhone has become the face of that evolution. Some may use their iPhones for gaming, some for keeping up with the wherabouts of friends, some for business and some use it as an iPod that makes calls and browses the web. Me personally? I use it for all that and much, much more. So let me take you on an exiting mobile safari that is a day in the life of my iPhone.
As we take this journey, you will quickly find out that I am an AppStore junkie. If I can find a use for an app, I have more than likely downloaded it. I will briefly go over the apps I use and give a light description as to what each one does along with some screenshots with the app at work.
Part I 5:30am: Bible Study
Apps used: AcroBible NIV, iPod
I use this AcroBible because it’s UI (user interface) makes it a breeze to quickly browse through books and chapters enabling me to read along and study my Bible while listening to a favorite podcast of mine, “Back to the Bible”. AcroBible NIV allows me to take notes within the application and offers a highlighting feature as well. For those looking for a portable electronic Bible with Sync capability, this is your app!
Below are screenshots of AcroBible NIV in action.

Below is a screenshot of the “Back to the Bible” podcast which is available though iTunes.
